We are currently taking NDIS plan-managed and Self-managed clients, however we are in the process to be fully NDIS registered to take on NDIA-managed clients also.

Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan
All Speech Pathologists at The Shepherd Speech Room are registered with Medicare. We provide services for children and adults who are referred under the Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan. Your GP will be able to develop a management plan, which enables you to access allied health services. A rebate is available, however you will still incur an out-of-pocket expense, (amount dependent on your service length).

Private Health Cover
All Speech Pathologists at The Shepherd Speech Room are registered with Medicare and have private health cover recognition. If you have health insurance with Speech Pathology extras, you may be eligible to receive a rebate on all or part of the cost of therapy. You are encouraged to talk to your private health agency to determine your level of funding.
